Barbara Adams is an analyst in the FAA Flight Standards Service’s Air Carrier Training Programs and Voluntary Safety Programs Branch. In this capacity she served as the Team Lead for the Pilot Certification and Qualification Requirements for Air Carrier Operations rulemaking project, and she is leading the FAA team’s work on the ACS for the Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
Before joining the FAA, Barbara served as an aviation technical specialist for AOPA. She also flew as a pilot for Independence Air/Atlantic Coast Airlines. She has a BBA in Aviation Management and a MS in Aviation from the University of North Dakota.
