Paul J. Preidecker, FlightDeck Insights LLC
Paul Preidecker recently retired as a line captain for Air Wisconsin Airlines, where he had also served as Chief Flight Instructor/Examiner, simulator and line check airman, FAA Aircrew Program Designee, and FAA Designated Observer. He holds an ATP certificate, has logged over 7,800 hours of flying experience, and earned type ratings in the CL-65, Do-328, and the LearJet.
During his work as Chief Flight Instructor, Paul oversaw the pilot training program for Air Wisconsin. He also participated in the development and review of operating procedures for the CL-65 aircraft and served as a member of the company’s Aviation SAfety Action Program. His experience also includes serving on a FAA Aviation Rulemaking Committee, as a member of the RAA Flight Training Committee, and numerous presentations at events sponsored by the National Transportation Safety Board, Regional Airline Association and World Aviation Training Summit.
Prior to joining Air Wisconsin, Paul was a flight instructor and charter pilot at a local airport near his home in Madison, WI. He continues to be active in business and general aviation.
Paul now manages his own company, FlightDeck Insights, to share his extensive and varied aviation experience across the aviation industry via educational webinars and publications, consulting, and pilot services.
