Capt. Peter J. (Pete) Wolfe, Executive Director, Professional Aviation Board of Certification (PABC)
Pete Wolfe retired as a US military and airline pilot, and now serves as the Executive Director for the Professional Aviation Board of Certification (PABC). As a US-based non-profit research organization, PABC uses its tests as a Gap Analysis tool to: 1) improve the training effectiveness and on-time completion of new hire airline pilots, and 2) enhance the quality and scope of ab initio pilot training programs around the world. The Result: Pilot thru put is enhanced and the cost of both training and line operations are reduced.
The Impact of Under-Prepared Pilots
Did you know that three recent studies by credible industry sources have confirmed that over 50% of today’s new hire airline pilots are NOT well prepared to enter their employer’s New Hire training program? In this session, the Professional Aviation Board of Certification (PABC) will show the operational and financial benefits that its testing creates for airlines, pilots, ab initio trainers and our industry. Please join us for what might be WATS 2020’s most valuable session.
